Maintenance Technician\nBellevue and Papillion, NE\nBurlington Capital Properties is now accepting applications for a Maintenance Technician position to assist the Deer Creek and Founders Ridge Senior Apartments.\nWe pride ourselves in the quality living experience we provide to our residents and therefore are considering individuals with demonstrated abilities in the areas of leadership, maintena\n...\nnce, repairs and customer service. Maintenance team members protect and improve the overall appearance and maintenance of the property, and we value maintenance supervisors who understand their individual and team impact on the overall success of the property and resident retention.\nThe hours for this position are 8:00AM \u2013 5:00PM, Monday through Friday, with \u201con call\u201d requirement for emergency maintenance on weekends/evenings.\nEssential Job Functions Include\n\u2022 Perform all interior and exterior repairs to maintain apartments, common areas, buildings and grounds according to established procedures.\n\u2022 Cleaning of common areas and units during turn process.\n\u2022 Regularly communicate with supervisor as to status of service requests, make ready units, etc.\n\u2022 Complete vacant units to make ready status per established procedures.\n\u2022 Inspect all work performed by outside contractors.\n\u2022 Inspect and/or perform exterior maintenance ensuring high level curb appeal.\n\u2022 Ensure that all Federal, State and County Health and Safety Codes, Laws and Standards are followed.\n\u2022 Regularly inspect common areas to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness.\n\u2022 Participate in resident functions as requested by Management.\n\u2022 Maintenance team members may be required to be \u201con call\u201d.\nKnowledge, Skills And Abilities\n\u2022 High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.\n\u2022 Valid driver\u2019s license and acceptable motor vehicle record required.\n\u2022 HVAC certification preferred.\n\u2022 Minimum of 1-2 years\u2019 experience in maintenance or equivalent field required.\n\u2022 Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general building trades is required.\n\u2022 Ability to follow directives and work with minimum supervision.\n\u2022 Must have basic understanding of the English language and be able to communicate effectively.\n\u2022 Ability to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors and the general public.\nIf you meet the basic requirements as outlined above, please apply here today!\nCompetitive pay and benefits package will be discussed during interviews.
